San Miguel Chicaj - Male
 Daily

His white trousers have patterns woven sparsely through it. The red wool coat is woven around the collar, cuffs and front. The coat hides a brilliant sash, of which you can only see the tips.

Language: Achí               Department: Baja Verapaz

Chicaj, means "in heaven," and the people there believe that Saint Michael came down to them.  The villagers are excellent potters and good painters. They usually use yellow, red and black to paint their pots. With hills full of Pine and Oak, the men make pack and riding saddles.
