Her skirt and shawl are tie-dyed black and white.  Her blouse hangs loose gathered under the arms and tucked into the skirt. Unlike other women around Lake Atitán she does not wear a head piece.

Sitting on the southern side of Lake Atitlán, San Lucas serves as the connection to the fertile coastal lowlands.  The men from Santiago Atitlán transport the goods to the highlands.  There are stock piles of Bananas, sugar cane, coffee, coconuts and many other fruits.
